Hans reports that Nike missile on the launcher (Open House) was taken at the Karlsruhe Army Air Field. As he states, “I am sure about that, since the booster tail fin still shows the old 552nd AAA Bn crest”.

At Charlie Battery the Launching Area was about a five minute drive from the barracks.
This form of “Limo Service” was our usual mode of transport to and from anywhere and everywhere.
